True Story: Social media is hurting more network marketers than it’s helping.
It’s a sad but true fact… too many network marketers are being taught to use social media the WRONG way. This is PART TWO of a two-part training series about how to set yourself apart from all the other network marketers in your company and grow your business quickly on social media.

After being with the same network marketing company for over a decade, when I partnered with a new company in 2015 I wanted to be coachable. That included being coachable to how this company was using social media, but unfortunately they were doing it all wrong.
Within just a few weeks of implementing what was taught by our upline my engagement dropped to almost 0. I had friends and family members unfriending me left and right. People started avoiding me in social media AND in real life. It was NOT pretty.
Thankfully, I came out of it pretty quickly… and committed to learning the RIGHT way to post on social media for myself and so we could teach our growing team.
Fast forward a bit, and now it’s not uncommon for me to get 40-50 leads from ONE social media post. It’s possible, but you have to do it the right way.

People hate to be sold, but they love to buy. Once you understand and fully grasp this concept, you’ll never go wrong again! Your social media posts should never try to “sell” your audience. Instead, focus on educating, informing, inspiring and entertaining them, and they will sell themselves and buy from you all day long.
