Success in Network Marketing requires three types of belief (or faith). We’re going to cover each of these three in today’s blog post.
Success in Network Marketing… requires three kinds of Faith
- F.A.I.T.H. in Yourself
- F.A.I.T.H. in the Network Marketing Business Model
- F.A.I.T.H. in Your Company and Products (or service)
The definition of faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
Even more helpful to understand ‘faith’ are the synonyms: trust, belief, confidence, conviction, optimism, hopefulness and hope

Faith in Yourself
To experience success in any endeavor, you must have faith in yourself.
I believe most all of us look at others, and think… “If I had what she has, I’d be successful.”
Or, “If I had what she has, of course I’d believe in myself (have faith in myself).” The truth is, though, “she” is thinking the same thing about the ‘others’ she’s looking at.
We women, more so than men, I think… ‘compare ourselves’ to the other women we know and allow that to influence our faith and belief in ourselves.
We allow our insecurities to intimidate our belief (our faith) in what we are capable of accomplishing.
Here’s the thing, though… if you choose to stay focused on the negative elements in your life, focusing on what you can’t do and what you don’t have, then you are agreeing to be defeated.
However, if you’ll focus on your possibilities, the faith and belief you have in yourself will increase.
You must change your ‘thinking habits’ if you want to have more belief (faith) in yourself — and if you want to have success in Network Marketing, F.A.I.T.H. in yourself is where it starts!
Recently, I read a statement that really hit me hard… but in a good way. Hopefully, it will help you, as well.
I don’t recall where I read it, so this isn’t a direct quote and I’m not sure who to give the credit to…
“You are today what you believed about yourself yesterday. You will be tomorrow what you believe about yourself today.”
GET YOUR HOPES. You will become what you believe!
Faith in the Business Model
The first chapter title of Go Pro, by Eric Worre sums it up really well, “Network Marketing Isn’t Perfect… It’s just BETTER” and that it is!
Better than having a boss and better than being the boss!
I’ve experienced both and I agree with Eric 100%, Network Marketing is BETTER than either one.
If you lack faith in the Network Marketing business model, there is no way, in a few paragraphs I can change that. What I share, though is what built my faith.
Study the industry.
1. Buy Eric’s book… and even if you don’t read it all, read the first two chapters.
2. Buy a copy of the Four Year Career… either the the one by Richard Brooke or his wife, Kimmy.
If after reading these two books, you still lack faith in the Network Marketing business model, you might need to find another career path.
Yes. I really did just say that.
Network Marketing is for anyone but it’s not for everyone.
One last suggestion I’ll make is to surround yourself, seriously drown yourself in success stories of fellow Network Marketers.
One of the best books for this would be Chicken Soup for the Network Marketer’s Soul.
Having unstoppable faith, in the Network Marketing business model is an absolute must… it’s okay if you don’t have it in the early days but to experience success in Network Marketing — you must have true belief in the business model!
Faith in Your Company
Hopefully, you had faith in your company and products prior to deciding to join and build a business. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Most join because of their friend’s excitement, and not from researching the facts.
Seems like a silly way to make decision to start a business but because of the low entry for getting started in Network Marketing, it’s more the norm than not.
If you don’t have the facts needed to have 100% faith in your company and products, go find them.
Here’s my suggestion;
- Use your company’s products, and create your own before and after product story
- Search out product stories within your company from happy customers and consultants (most companies call these product testimonials)
- Reach out to your sponsor and ask for their business story
- Search out business stories within your company — most provide a library of consultant success stories (about what the business has done for them)
Once you know others are experiencing success with the products and the opportunity, that’s all that is all you need to have faith in the company and the products while you are create your own success stories!
Remember, if others have experienced success, so can you!
Go find their stories, then get to work on creating your story.
All you need is…
FAITH in yourself.
FAITH in the Network Marketing business model.
FAITH in your products and company.
